preserving

 Summer is here and I'm trying to make the best of the produce in season. This means breaking out the canning supplies and going over recipes for pickles and jams.

I'm also trying to plan ahead for Christmas. I know it seems a bit early (like 6 months), but it's the perfect time to slowly build up the projects I wait till it's too late to do. I've been slowly knitting, making vanilla extract, planting herbs to dry, and experimenting with rhubarb.
